Promoting a recovery-supportive community at WVU

The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program is offering several Recovery Ally training sessions throughout the semester to help faculty, staff and students learn how to support people in recovery from substance use disorders and eating disorders.

The hour-long training will provide attendees with education to better understand the process of recovery, help confront stigma related to addiction and utilize appropriate language when discussing substance use disorders and eating disorders. Participants will also learn about available resources in Morgantown and best practices to help those in need access services.

If you are interested in registering for a training or arranging an independent training session for a group or organization, please reach out to Olivia Dale Pape
